지난 7월 2023년 윤영섭 대표이사의 주도로 아시아 심혈관 학술대회가 보스턴에서 개최되었습니다.

아시아 심혈관 학술대회는 미국 심장학회에서 주관하는 Basic Cardiovascular Science 학회와 연계된 행사로 심혈관분야 연구에 관여하는 아시아 지역의 집약된 네트워킹과 커뮤니티를 형성하기 위한 회의 입니다.

심혈관 분야 과학자 및 임상의들이 참여하여 연구성과를 공유하고 친목을 도모함으로써 향후 협력 연구 및 개발을 도모할 수 있는 플랫폼으로 진행 되었습니다. 한국 심혈관 학회 (KCS), 중국 심혈관 연구 학회 (ACRE), 일본 심혈관연구 협회 (JCRE), 남아시아 심장협회(SAHR)가 참여한 2023아시아 심혈관학회는 한국 심혈관 학회의 주도로 이루어졌으며 윤영섭 대표이사는 한국 심혈관 학회의 미국측 대표로 본 학회를 주관 하였습니다.

The 2023 Asian Cardiovascular Symposium (ACS), organized by the Korean Cardiovascular Society and led by Dr. Young-sup Yoon, was hosted in Boston. This symposium serves as a half-day pre-meeting event in conjunction with the annual AHA-BCVS conference. The primary goal of the ACS is to advance the AHA’s mission of fostering engagement within the Asian cardiovascular science communities. It creates a platform for effective communication and collaboration between scientists and clinicians from both American and Asian nations, thereby extending the global influence of the BCVS initiative. The ACS is a collaborative effort involving four distinguished organizations: the Academy of Cardiovascular Research Excellence (ACRE, Chinese group), the Japanese Cardiovascular Research Association (JCRA, Japanese group), the Korean Cardiovascular Society (KCS, Korean group), and the Society for South Asian Heart Association (SAHR, South Asian group).
